SIMON YEH

Saxophonist - Producer - Educator

Professional music services, music production, and private mentorship.

Simon Yeh is a Nashville-based saxophonist, producer, music director, educator, and creative professional whose work spans performance, touring, music production, artist development, and higher education.

As a performer, Simon has spent nearly a decade touring nationally with Grammy-nominated artist Danny Gokey and currently serves as Music Director for Gokey’s live productions. Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with artists including Michael W. Smith, TobyMac, Chris Tomlin, Natalie Grant, Mandisa, T. Graham Brown, Evan Craft, Denver and the Mile High Orchestra, and many others.

In addition to his work as a performer, Simon is an accomplished educator with more than ten years of teaching experience and over seven years of collegiate instruction. Since 2019, he has led the Jazz Ensemble at Lipscomb University while teaching courses in aural skills, music technology, improvisation, jazz studies, and private instruction. He also serves on the faculty of the Governor’s School for the Arts.

As a producer and arranger, Simon releases music under the artist and producer brand Chris Yeh, a name derived from his middle name, Christopher. Through this project, he creates cinematic productions that blend orchestration, modern pop, CCM influences, and emotional storytelling. His work includes production, arranging, orchestration, mixing, mastering, and artist development for a growing roster of independent artists and collaborators.

His orchestration and preparation work can also be heard on TobyMac’s Life After Death album, where he contributed string and horn orchestration support, copyist work, and session preparation.

Whether performing on stage, directing live productions, working in the studio, or mentoring musicians, Simon brings together the unique perspectives of performer, educator, producer, and creative leader.

His mission is simple:

To help people create, perform, and experience music at a deeper level.
